I currently co-author and frequently update Explorer’s Guides to Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire, each representing the first guide to lodging, dining and shopping as well as activities and attractions throughout these three states – for which they also remain the best selling guides.

According to the 2008 summer issue of Yankee, I'm “New England’s premier guidebook author.” I launched the Explorers Guides published by Countryman Press, a series that continues to expand and has become one of the most successful and widely respected travel series in the country. For many years my work has appeared regularly in the The Boston Globe, Yankee Magazine and other publications including, most recently, GateHouse Media papers.
